About Hideaway Pizza

Local chain featuring build-your-own pies, a variety of Italian fare & a kids' menu.

Located at 5410 State Hwy 121, Plano, TX 75024, Hideaway Pizza operates as a pizza restaurant serving Plano in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 AM–9:30 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (945) 800-7377. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is hideawaypizza.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 1,154 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Plano and suggests consistent service.

We went on a Friday evening around 5:30pm. Luckily we didn’t wait long as we chose to sit upstairs, they had the place well set up for the hot weather with lots of fans/coolers. They were very busy but the food came in timely. They were playing the game on TV which was great! We ordered salad, pizza and pasta. I added chicken to the cedar salad, and replaced the meatballs with chicken as well. For the pizza we chose build your own pizza! Kids enjoyed their food and so did we.

we ate at the resteraunt and the pizza was so fresh and yummy! im usually not a crust enjoyer but the crust on these pizzas were so soft and yummy. the pizza was so good. we also got the fried pickles which were quite delicious. we also sat on the upstairs patio where they had mist machines (make sure u dont sit the way where the wind is blowing the mist towards ur face/food if ur not comfortable with that). would revisit!!

Visited this spot today for the first time in a party of four. The negative thing about our experience today was receiving a dirty plate and dirty silverware. We first were given a plate with what appeared to be dried up marinara sauce when we first sat down. I gave it to our waitress, she apologized, and brought us another one. But then when our appetizers arrived, we were given a spoon with what appeared to be dried up chocolate. I once again gave it to our waitress, she apologized profusely, and immediately brought us another one. While these things happen, it was discouraging that it happened twice during our visit today and made us apprehensive to try the food. That being said, everything we ordered was delicious. Pictured are the mozzarella sticks, cheesy shrooms, lasagna, and a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The lasagna was my favorite thing hands down and I finished it all before leaving - it was that good. Also really loved the cheesy shrooms and found them to be super flavorful. Overall - I would come back because I loved all the food but the two instances of dirty plates/silverware was super unfortunate and makes me weary of the quality control and cleanliness.

The first time I visited was at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday night, and the place was hopping. We joined the waitlist online while driving over, which really cut down on the wait time. The good news is they’re fantastic at turning tables. We were seated right around the estimated wait time we were given. We started with a full sized order of fried mushrooms (which comes with two ranches and one marinara). They were the best fried mushrooms I’ve ever had, perfectly crispy with substantial mushrooms that made the batter to mushroom ratio impeccable. The ranch was solid, and the marinara was delicious. For pizza, I ordered a medium hand tossed Capone, and it was AMAZING. The garlic flavor was very forward, which was great to see. It had tons of toppings, tons of flavor, and was absolutely worth the visit. I came back again for lunch on a weekday (without the waitlist) seating was easy. This time we ordered the half order of fried mushrooms, which was perfect for two people and comes with the same three sauces mentioned above. I also split a small hand tossed Sicilian pizza with one other person, and it was excellent as well. The topping ratio, sauce ratio, and cook were all perfection.

9/24/25: This restaurant was recommended by my wife's coworker, so we decided to check it out. We were seated near the bar. Blake was our host, and he was very friendly and attentive. The bartender, Hunter, was cool. We met the cook, Dean, he was very friendly and took pride in his food preparation skills. There was a short wait for our order, and our pizza was fresh and hot! The fried mushrooms were just ok and the fried pickles were good. The bar area and restaurant were very clean and they had a nice patio area. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely return!
